The "Gastrosexual" is the new breed of man who uses his kitchen skills to impress friends and women.  I couldn't be happier about that and I owe it all to the Food Network.  I really like watching those grill shows and copying their dinners.  After a while, you tend to remember some food combinations and you can really fake that you know what you're doing.

Looking around my group of friends, it seems like there's a complete reversal of gender and expectation.  I know a lot of guys who can cook like crazy.  The women?  Not so much.  I don't trust a handful of them to make anything successfully. 

So men are taking over the kitchen.  Next up-- we're coming for your pantyhose.
