Have you heard? MONOPOLY MONEY HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH. . . A VISA DEBIT CARD???

It's a perfect example of the DUMBING DOWN of Western civilization.



In the newest versions of Monopoly, in England, the legendary multicolored Monopoly money has been replaced. . . by a VISA DEBIT CARD and a calculator. Seriously. So, if you want to buy property, instead of handing the banker a yellow $100, a blue $50 and a pink $5, instead, you hand him your debit card and he punches $150 into the calculator, and then swipes your card through its sensor and the money's deducted from your account.



A spokesman for Hasbro (which makes Monopoly), says, quote, "The new electronic Monopoly reflects the changing nature of society and the advancement of technology."



I can't wait for the 'heads' at the Twister factory to screw that one up.
