Trees are in the stores.  Decorations line the aisles and if they haven't already started we'll have the holiday commercial jingles ringing before long.

I LOVE xmas shopping.  I mean I LOVE xmas shopping!

I was half done my shopping by the beginning of October and if I follow in my mom's footsteps  I'll likely have a tree up Halloween night  (no joke).

There's something about the holidays... the smells, the warmth, the kindness of others... something about it that I wish could last all year long.
